This is the final stage in the evolution of Sandshrew. The Pokédex has almost no information regarding this ground Pokémon, and the only known facts about Sandslash are as follows: Sandslash curls up into a spiny ball when it feels threatened, and it can roll while curled up to attack or to escape.
