Ash Catches a Pokémon

Ash and Misty enter the Viridian Forest on their way to Pewter City and discover a Caterpie. Ash promptly captures the caterpillar Pokémon and, the following day — with Pikachu’s and Caterpie’s help — Ash captures a Pidgeotto. Meanwhile, Team Rocket has set their nasty sights on Ash’s Pikachu, but after a fast and furious Pokémon battle, Caterpie encases the villains in webbing and then surprisingly evolves into the super-hard Metapod!
